Awareness Through Movement® (group classes)
Awareness through movement classes are verbally guided, enjoyable and ingenious explorations of how we move. Each class is designed to improve our ease and comfort of movement.
The lessons are carried out in lying, sitting or standing with each one taking a particular function as its theme. The lessons can add new possibilities of movement, reduce tension, eliminate pain, and increase our awareness of how we may unconsciously act to bring on discomfort or pain. People who do these lessons often experience a new lightness, easier breathing and clearer perception of their movement. The classes are open to all regardless of age or state of health. If, however, you are experiencing serious pain or lack of mobility please contact me to discuss ways of proceeding with the work.
